University of Central Florida
📍 Orlando, FL
The quick take
UCF bed sizes vary more than you might expect. Confirm the community before ordering bedding, then let the packing begin.
Bed sizes by community
- Apollo, Libra, Nike, Hercules, Neptune, Lake Claire and Rosen: Twin XL
- Towers: Full
- NorthView: Full XL (Full XL sheets)
- Downtown and other specialized assignments may differ, so use the current assignment-specific guide.
What to pack
Bring the correct bedding, a mattress protector, pillows, towels, shower supplies, laundry gear, hangers, cleaning basics, a surge protector and only the storage you know will fit. Residents supply toilet paper where applicable.
Appliances and items to leave home
Apartment kitchens may allow appliances such as toaster ovens, toasters, rice cookers, slow cookers, air fryers and countertop grills. Residence-hall rules are stricter.
Do not bring personal lofts or bed risers, hanging shower caddies, adhesive LED strips, personal Wi-Fi routers, space heaters or exposed-heating-element appliances. Bikes also cannot be stored inside living spaces.
Campus and community notes
UCF housing spans main-campus communities plus Rosen, NorthView and downtown-area options. The bed, kitchen and bathroom setup depends on the exact assignment. A screenshot of the housing offer is more useful than a cart full of guesses.
Before move-in
- Match your assignment to the official packing guide.
- Coordinate large shared items with roommates.
- Confirm arrival time, parking and unloading instructions.
- Save receipts until the bedding size survives move-in day.
