Bed and room basics

Every room provides a bed, desk, chair and dresser. Bed size splits by building: most Boca Raton halls and University Village Apartments use 36-by-80-inch Twin XL, while Innovation Village North and South use standard Full. On the Jupiter campus, RH1 and RH2 use Twin XL and RH3 uses standard Full. Kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, bathroom and shower-curtain needs also vary by building.

Pack these first

• Bedding once the exact building is confirmed
• Towels, toiletries and a shower caddy
• Hurricane supplies, including a flashlight, batteries and shelf-stable food and water
• Laundry supplies, hangers and basic cleaning supplies
• Currently approved surge protection

Rules and smart skips

• Check the assigned building before buying a microwave or refrigerator. Some communities supply them.
• Confirm whether the building supplies a shower curtain.
• Wait on rugs, large organizers and extra furniture until the room type is known.

Before move-in

• Use the housing portal and the current move-in assignment.
• Follow the correct Boca Raton or Jupiter instructions, unloading route and required ID.
• Photograph the room and complete the condition process before unpacking.
