Centennial and McCabe are standard Twin

Those two halls use 75-inch beds while the rest of Lincoln Park uses 80-inch Twin XL. Check the assignment before ordering sheets.

Bed and room basics

Most Lincoln Park beds take 80-inch Twin XL bedding, with Centennial and McCabe the 75-inch exceptions. Traditional halls generally use adjustable or loftable bed ends. Room type, bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning and storage vary, so wait for the assignment before buying rugs, organizers, furniture or appliances. All university furniture stays in the unit.

Pack these first

  • Bedding in the size the assigned hall uses
  • Towels, toiletries and a shower caddy
  • Laundry and cleaning supplies
  • Hangers and a personal dolly, which helps given the 20-minute cart checkout
  • Approved surge protection

Rules and smart skips

  • A mini-fridge must be 4.8 cubic feet or smaller and is not allowed in apartments.
  • A microwave must be 1,500 watts or less.
  • Only one fridge, microwave and TV is allowed per unit, so coordinate with roommates.

Before move-in

  • Check in and collect keys at the Housing Hub in Centennial Hall first.
  • Then follow the building unloading and parking directions.
  • Bring the Blue Demon Card.
  • Review the complimentary move-in parking QR code before arriving.
