University of Connecticut
📍 Storrs, CT
Quick take
UConn residence halls, suites, Northwood apartments and Stamford housing generally use Twin XL beds. Several Charter Oak and Hilltop apartment layouts use full-size beds, so apartment residents need to check the exact assignment before buying sheets.
Start with the campus and housing type
This guide covers university-managed housing, including Storrs residence halls, suites and apartments plus Stamford housing. Confirm the campus, building and unit type in the housing assignment.
Bed-size exception
Standard halls and suites use Twin XL. Several Charter Oak and Hilltop apartment layouts use full beds, while some efficiency layouts use Twin XL. The apartment name matters more than the average.
