Twin XL sheets cover both cases
Every Lehigh mattress is 36 inches wide. McClintic-Marshall and some Dravo rooms are 75 inches long rather than 80, and Twin XL sheets still fit.
Bed and room basics
Rooms include a bed and mattress, desk, desk chair, closet or wardrobe, and dresser. Most mattresses are Twin XL. University beds can be bunked with university-issued pins and required rails, and approved risers may be used in some configurations but never together with bunking. Do not assume photos show current desk hutches or identical furniture.
Pack these first
- Twin XL bedding and pillows
- Towels and shower supplies
- Laundry supplies and hangers
- Study materials, chargers and weather gear
- Medication, basic first aid and compact storage
Rules and smart skips
- Review Lehigh's current packing list and residence hall policies for prohibited appliances, fire safety and decoration rules.
- Risers and bunking cannot be combined.
- Wait for the assignment before buying fitted under-bed storage.
Before move-in
- Students generally cannot view rooms during summer, since halls are used for conferences.
- Label every box or bag with the student's name, building and room number.
- Follow the assigned check-in route, arrival window, unloading and parking instructions.
- Early arrival requires approval.
